GLP-1 Dietitian Program

Starting a GLP-1 medication? I’m Katie Ernst, RD (18+ years experience), and I provide GLP-1 dietitian support to help you build a simple protein-first nutrition plan that fits your appetite, supports digestion, and keeps results sustainable.

What we’ll work on together:

  • Personalized protein target (and how it changes as you lose weight)
  • Simple meal structure when you’re “not hungry” but still need nutrition
  • Fiber + fluids plan to prevent constipation and keep you consistent

Why I like GobyMeds: it’s cost-friendly, there are no monthly subscriptions or hidden fees, the dashboard is simple and clear, and you still get support from a medical team—so it feels both affordable and legit.

Is this for you?

This is for you if:

  • You’re considering a GLP-1 and want a realistic nutrition plan
  • You want to lose weight without losing muscle and energy
  • You want simple guidance for nausea/constipation/low appetite
  • You’re on a GLP-1 and want to create good habits before stopping the medication

Not a fit if:

  • You want a crash diet or extreme rules
  • You need urgent medical care (severe vomiting, dehydration, etc.)

FAQ

Do you prescribe GLP-1 medications?
No. Medication decisions are made by your clinician. I provide nutrition education and support. My preferred compounding pharmacy with a supportive medical team is GobyMeds. My referral link (I do receive commission) is gobymeds.com/RDVERIFY

How do I avoid muscle loss?
Protein + strength training (when possible) + avoiding “accidentally under-eating.”

What if I’m nauseous or can’t eat much?
Smaller portions, gentler foods, timing strategies, and easier protein options.

What about constipation?
We use a stepwise approach: fluids → food fiber → supplements only if needed.
